The Abstract Book will be available on the Congress website:

All abstracts have been reviewed by the Congress Scientific Committee and peer-reviewed for:

  1. Clinical relevance, applicability in practice, and current interest of the topic to the scientific community
  2. Originality
  3. Scientific content

 

EORNA ACE Accreditation

The scientific programme of the 9th EORNA Congress fulfils the EORNA ACE Quality criteria. Credits will be assigned as follows: 16.5 credits.

  • 5 credit points on Friday, 17 May
  • 5 credit points on Saturday, 18 May
  • 5 credit points on Sunday, 19 May

 

ATM

Money withdrawal can be made at ING Bank (Frederik Hendriklaan 80, 2582 BE Den Haag) located 700 m from the World Forum.

 

Catering

Morning coffee breaks, lunch bags and afternoon coffee breaks are included in the registration fees. You will find all catering stations on level 0 within the Exhibition Area. Coffee stations will only be open during the break times.

Certificate of Attendance

At the end of the Congress, you will receive your certificate of attendance by email.

 

Cloakroom

The cloakroom is located on level 0 of the Congress venue. Coats and items of luggage can be deposited at the cloakroom free of charge.

 

Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony will take place on Sunday, 19 May 2019 between 11:00 and 12:00 in Room Amazon on level 1.

 

Congress Badge

Please wear your badge at all times in the Congress centre. Access to the Congress facilities will not be granted without a proper Congress badge. If an attendee loses, misplaces or forgets the name badge, a handling fee of 15 EUR will be charged for a new Congress badge. Upon handing out a new Congress badge, the lost badge will become invalid.

 

Congress Dinner

The Congress dinner will take place on Saturday, 18 May 2019 at 19:30 at the Madurodam (George Maduroplein 1, 2584 RZ Den Haag).

Tickets for the Congress dinner can be purchased for the price of 75 EUR at the Registration Desk. Please present the voucher for the Congress dinner (part of your badge) at the Madurodam.

 

Congress Material

The Congress material can be collected from the cloakroom.

 

Congress Run

The Congress run will take place on Friday, 17 May 2019 at 7:00 before the sessions start. All delegates, families and friends are welcome!

The run consists of a warm up of about 6 minutes, a dynamic workout, the course (5km) and a final stretch. The entrance fee is 5 EUR (including a t-shirt): proceeds will be donated to the Juliana‘s Children‘s Hospital, The Hague.

 

Currency

The official currency in the Netherlands is the Euro (EUR). All payments connected to the EORNA 2019 Congress will be in Euro (EUR).

 

Exhibition Area

Congress participants are invited to visit the Exhibition Area during the Congress. The Exhibition Area is located on level 0 and will be open during the following times:

Filming

Out of respect for authors’ and speakers’ copyrights, it is forbidden to film during any official Congress sessions. In case of negligence, the organisers reserve the right to exclude the participant from the congress. Official videographers are authorised to film sessions during the Congress.

 

Internet Area

The Internet Area with iPads can be found in the ePoster Area on level 0.

 

Language

The official language of the Congress is English.

 

Lost and Found

Found items should be handed in at the Information Desk on level 0.

 

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones must be set to silent mode in all session rooms at all times.

 

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 16 May 2019 between 17:30 and 19:00 in room King Willem Alexander.

Following the Opening Ceremony, all delegates are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will be taking place in the Exhibition Area between 19:00 – 20:30 and includes drinks and cocktail snacks.

 

Parking

World Forum has its own spacious parking garage. It is located adjacent to the World Forum (Churchillplein, 2517 JW Den Haag) so you arrive directly at the venue.

The maximum vehicle height for the garage is 2.00 metres.

Day ticket (12 hours)                             14 EUR

Exit cards for the garage are available at the Information Desk on level 0 or you can pay at the payment terminals in the parking garage (payment per hour) using your debit card or credit card. Please note that it is not possible to pay with cash.

 

Posters

The Guided Poster Walks will take place on two days:

Friday, 17 May                            12:00 – 13:00

Saturday, 18 May                       12:00 – 13:00

The Poster Area will be located at the foyer on level 1.

You may hang your poster between 16:00 – 21:00 on Thursday, 16 May 2019 and must remove it by Sunday, 19 May, 2019 between 11:00 – 13:00.

 

ePosters will be presented on iPads in the ePoster and Internet Area which will be located at the Exhibition Area on level 0.

The ePoster Area will open during the following times:

Smoking Policy

It is forbidden to smoke in any part of the Congress venue.

 

Speaker Preview Room

Speakers must hand in their presentation in the Speaker Preview Room at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled presentation time. The Speaker Preview Room is located on level 2 of the Congress venue in the room Kilimanjaro. It will be open during the following times:
